Spitfire Homes welcomes new Lord Mayor of Coventry to Clarendon after first residents move in

We were delighted to welcome the new Lord Mayor of Coventry to Clarendon, our premium collection of 182 new homes near Burton Green, Coventry, following the arrival of our first residents.

Cllr Roger Bailey, accompanied by Deputy Mayoress Cllr Julia Lepoidevin, visited Clarendon to experience the collection first-hand and see the variety of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes currently taking shape.

During their visit, the Lord Mayor and Deputy Mayoress enjoyed an exclusive tour of the completed areas of Clarendon, exploring the four show homes and experiencing the signature Spitfire Specification showcased throughout each home. Every home at Clarendon has been designed with modern living and sustainability in mind, with air source heat pumps, solar panels, underfloor heating and electric car charging points included as standard. A carefully considered mix of materials, including red brick, chalk white render and varied roof tiles, gives each home its own distinctive character.

Cllr Roger Bailey said:

“I’m really pleased to see homebuilders embracing Coventry as a place to invest in, and schemes like Clarendon will help many in the city to find a home that is right for them.

Spitfire Homes have done a terrific job to produce a collection that is striking on approach, and gives people the space that they need with sustainable features that are so sought-after. The focus on quality both visually and practically is clear, and I’m looking forward to seeing Clarendon continue to take shape through to completion of its vibrant new community.”

Mark Swaddle, Head of Marketing at Spitfire Homes, said:

“It was a privilege to welcome the Lord Mayor and Deputy Mayoress to Clarendon, a thriving and highly sought-after new address that is already proving popular with buyers.

Strong interest continues to be driven by the collection’s premium specification, well-connected location and the distinctive character of each home. The delivery of these 182 homes also represents significant investment in the surrounding area, and we were pleased to have the opportunity to discuss this positive impact during the visit.”

Located on the western edge of Coventry, Clarendon offers excellent connectivity to the city centre through surrounding road networks and nearby Tile Hill train station, making it ideal for commuters looking to enjoy easy access to local amenities and employment opportunities.
