Inspired by Place: Celebrating Architecture Across Spitfire Homes
This World Architecture Day, Monday 5th October, we’re celebrating the architectural influences and considered design details that define our collections of homes across the Midlands.
Architecture shapes the character of our communities, reflects the heritage of our surroundings and influences the way we experience our homes.
At Spitfire, we believe that great architecture creates a true sense of place. From the timeless elegance of Georgian-inspired elevations to the distinctive stonework of the Cotswolds and striking contemporary designs, each of our collections has its own architectural identity.
Renowned for its symmetry, Georgian architecture continues to influence residential design.
Across our collections at Clarendon in Coventry, Malabar in Daventry and Sherbourne in Radcliffe on Trent, Georgian architectural influences are reflected in the carefully considered positioning of windows, balanced façades and distinctive architectural detailing.
Tall, elegantly proportioned windows and statement elevations create a sense of balance and refinement, while contemporary materials and thoughtfully designed interiors introduce a modern interpretation of this timeless architectural style.
The result is a selection of homes that combine the elegance of traditional British architecture with the practicalities of modern living.

From pitched slate roofs and decorative stone surrounds to statement gable porches and traditional chimneys, carefully considered architectural details create a varied yet cohesive collection.
Each character area brings its own architectural identity, creating a sense of individuality throughout the collection while maintaining a connection to the surrounding landscape.
