Spitfire Homes Contributes more than £7m to Cheltenham Community

Spitfire Homes is contributing more than £7 million to the Bishop’s Cleeve community in Cheltenham.
Committed to supporting the area, Spitfire is making positive contributions to local facilities including improvements to education, sports facilities and public transport.

We have already sold 90% of the homes in the first phase at Fairmont and are celebrating this with the launch of Phase Two. The design-led homes on Phase Two offer between two- and five-bedrooms and will be ready to move into from Spring 2024.

Spitfire is dedicated to creating sustainable communities and in total, there will be 215 stylish properties at Fairmont which are all designed to suit the needs of modern lifestyles. All homes at Fairmont include sustainability features that ensure each property is energy efficient and future-proofed, including air source heat pumps, smart heating systems and electric car charging points as standard.

Since opening the show homes at Fairmont at the end of last year, we have been awarded both Housebuilder of the Year and Small Housebuilder of the Year in 2023.

Matt Vincent from Spitfire Homes said:

“Delivering this contribution to the local community at Bishop’s Cleeve builds on our strategy to support the communities where we operate and aligns with our Sustainable Futures framework for operating as a socially responsible company.

“With Phase One 90% sold we’re pleased to be releasing Phase Two to meet the clear and significant demand for quality new homes within the local area. The first properties on Phase Two will be ready to move in from Spring 2024.”

Bordering the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Bishop’s Cleeve is a highly desirable destination due to its beautiful village setting and excellent connectivity and public transport links to Cheltenham and Gloucester.

Lucy Jordan at Hayman-Joyce Broadway, the instructed agent at Fairmont, added:

“We’ve sold homes at Fairmont to a wide range of buyers, whether that be first-time buyers, families, or downsizers, and we’re finding that customers are looking for properties that have flexibility of space and come with a wide variety of interior choices. We’re also seeing a real focus from buyers on homes that are sustainable and energy efficient.

Spitfire ensures all its homes have traditionally styled exteriors which are sympathetic to the local area, and buyers can personalise interior space with a wide range of choices and finishes.”

Properties at Fairmont specifically showcase a contrast of red brickwork, chalky white render, and golden reconstituted stone, creating an array of varied street scenes that complement the carefully considered interiors of each home.
