Spitfire Homes Community Fund Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions set out the criteria for eligibility, application requirements, and the terms of award for the Spitfire Homes Community Fund. Please read them carefully before applying, as submitting an application confirms your acceptance of these terms.
- Spitfire Homes’ Community Fund is available to charities and organisations which have their registered office address or place of business in the United Kingdom. Spitfire Homes will prioritise causes which are within its core areas of operation.
- Organisations are typically limited to one successful application per annum, although exceptions will be considered at Spitfire Homes’ discretion.
- By submitting an application for Spitfire Homes’ Community Fund, applicants hereby warrant that all the information submitted by them is true, current and complete.
- A maximum of £500 will be awarded per successful application. While applicants may specify their requested amount, the awarding panel reserves the right to determine the final grant value, which may be higher or lower at its sole discretion.
- Submitting an application form does not automatically confirm an allocation of funds. Whilst Spitfire Homes will consider all applications, unfortunately, it is unable to allocate funds to all applicants.
- Applications will be assessed on their potential to create meaningful positive impact within their community, and alignment with Spitfire Homes’ values and commitment to supporting local causes.
- Spitfire Homes will notify successful applicants in writing.
- If an application is successful, all money allocated by Spitfire Homes must be used for the project and purpose stated on the application form. Allocated funds are non-transferable and must not be used for personal use or purposes outside of those stated on the application form.
- The decision in relation to all applications is final and will be made at the discretion of the awarding panel.
- By applying for funding under Spitfire Homes’ Community Fund, applicants agree to partake in any media and press activity that may take place. Applicants may be contacted by representatives from Spitfire Homes’ marketing team, or external PR agency, at any time during the application. Applicants agree to partake in Spitfire Homes’ media activity on behalf of themselves and the organisation they are representing within this application, at any time during the application process, or following the awarding of a grant.
- By completing the application form applicants are consenting to receive communications from Spitfire Homes Spitfire Homes and their external PR agency.
- Spitfire Homes may, at its sole discretion, change the dates of allocating funds and/or the value of the funds available for allocation under Spitfire Homes’ Community Fund.
- Spitfire Homes reserves the right to alter, amend or withdraw these terms and conditions without prior notice.
- Spitfire Homes will not be liable if a contribution allocated under Spitfire Homes’ Community Fund cannot be accepted or used for its purpose for any reason beyond the control of Spitfire Homes. Spitfire Homes maintains the rights to reallocate funding if no response to communication is received within two weeks of notification of a successful grant. In the event that an applicant declines the allocated funds Spitfire Homes may elect, at its own discretion, to select an alternate recipient.
- These terms and conditions are governed by and construed and performed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, whose courts shall be the courts of exclusive jurisdiction.
- These terms and conditions and the application pack of which they form part constitute an agreement between Spitfire Homes and the organisation of whom is being granted. By submitting an application under Spitfire Homes’ Community Fund, all applicants are deemed to accept these terms and conditions.
