Spitfire returns to the Cotswolds after securing land to deliver 250 new homes
Spitfire Homes is returning to the Cotswolds after acquiring the first phase of a site that will deliver 250 premium new homes for the desirable market town of Moreton-in-Marsh.
Forming part of the Spitfire Homes Bespoke Collection, the striking one- to five-bedroom properties will showcase a carefully curated specification of hand-selected brands, materials and finishes to ensure a level of premium is maintained throughout each home.
Located on the southern edge of Moreton-in-Marsh, the 15.7-hectare development will deliver 250 homes with traditionally-styled exteriors that are sympathetic to the local vernacular of the area. The collection will showcase a mixture of honey-coloured reconstituted stone and red brickwork, as well as slate roofs, creating an array of attractive street scenes.
Located in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Moreton-in-Marsh is a thriving market town due to its semi-rural position, benefitting from a wealth of local amenities and proximity to nearby cities.
Excellent transport links, including a direct train to London Paddington Railway Station, offers prospective buyers an ideal lifestyle, based in a peaceful and attractive rural setting while maintaining connectivity.
This will be Spitfire’s 11th collection of homes in the Cotswolds, having previously completed schemes in locations such as Broadway, Chipping Campden, Milton-under-Wychwood, Fairford, and Stow-on-the-Wold.
Ben Leather, Managing Director at Spitfire Homes, said:
“We’re really excited to be bringing this collection of premium new homes to Moreton-in-Marsh, with the acquisition of this site marking a return to the Cotswolds for Spitfire Homes following our previous schemes in the region.
“This thriving market town is an extremely desirable location with significant buyer demand. Our range of traditionally-inspired properties are designed to meet the needs of a range of buyers, offering well proportioned, contemporary interiors and striking architectural detail that will fit well into this charming and attractive village setting.”
