Spitfire acquires 5.44-acres site in Wolston to deliver new homes

Spitfire Homes has acquired a 5.44-acre site in Wolston, Warwickshire, with outline planning permission to deliver 48 new homes.

Adjacent to the site, Spitfire will also be delivering a number of new community allotments, complete with a management building.

The acquisition of the site, which was promoted through Rosconn Group, follows Spitfire’s recent string of acquisitions including projects in Ombersley and Daventry.

A reserved matters planning application will be submitted shortly and we look forward to working with the Parish Council to deliver the new allotments and much-needed new homes for Wolston.

Commenting on the acquisition, Spitfire Homes Managing Director, Ben Leather, said:

“This is a further example of Spitfire’s investment into the Midlands region. The acquisition follows a string of recent land purchases from Spitfire Homes, supporting our ambitions for growth.

“Wolston is a desirable village location with a requirement for new homes, and we look forward to working with the Parish to deliver both the new homes and the allotments for the local community.”
