Spitfire Advent Calendar

At Spitfire, we’re lucky enough to be welcomed into long-standing communities built on local connections, shared traditions, and the values that hold them together. It’s a privilege we don’t take lightly.

This year, we’re excited to introduce the Spitfire Advent Calendar, a community initiative designed to champion local independents, strengthen community ties, and offer meaningful support to those who need it most at this time of year.

In collaboration with the Spitfire Gold Card scheme, the Spitfire Advent Calendar will comprise 12 days of festive activity. Each morning from 1–12 December, a new ‘door’ will open on this page, revealing a giveaway, community initiative or charitable donation. Some days invite you to take part by visiting a local business; others offer free treats, gifts, or competitions.

Check this page or our Instagram daily at 9.30am for full information and details.

For the final day of the Spitfire Advent Calendar, we’re donating to children’s wards across three hospitals local to our communities.

For some children and families, Christmas will be spent in hospital rather than at home. This brings its own challenges at an already emotional time of year.

Through these donations, we want to support those unfortunate enough to be spending Christmas in hospital, while also recognising the dedication of the teams working tirelessly over the festive period.

Everyone deserves the gift of care and kindness at Christmas.
