Spitfire Homes Rolls Out Gold Card Scheme at Ellenbrook After Proven Success
Following the success of the Gold Card scheme in other locations, we are now introducing the initiative at our collection of new homes at Ellenbrook, Moreton-in-Marsh. The scheme aims to connect the growing community with local and independent businesses across retail, hospitality, and leisure. The Gold Card provides residents with exclusive offers and discounts at a range of participating businesses, all at no cost to the businesses themselves, encouraging people to shop local and explore everything the town has to offer.
With over 50 properties now occupied at Ellenbrook, it’s a key moment to build meaningful links between the new neighbourhood and the wider community. Local businesses are invited to join the scheme free of charge and can tailor their own offers and experiences to attract new customers. Current partners include Moreton Wine Merchants, Cotswolds Grey, Henrys of Moreton, The Lygon Arms in Broadway, and Hook Norton Veterinary Group.
Mark Swaddle from Spitfire Homes said:
Moreton-in-Marsh is a bustling market town and we’re proud to bring the Gold Card scheme to Ellenbrook.
This initiative offers residents a great way to discover and connect with their local community, while giving businesses a free opportunity to engage with new customers and people joining the area.”
Alice Rowley, Marketing Manager from Cotswolds Grey, one of the independent businesses joining the Gold Card scheme, added:
We’re really pleased to be part of the Gold Card initiative. As a local independent retailer of premium home furnishings, our business naturally complements the needs of new homeowners, helping them turn their new house into a home.
This partnership allows us to engage with new residents to Moreton-in-Marsh, introduce them to our collection of products, and support them in settling into the community from day one.”
As part of our commitment to the local area, Spitfire Homes is investing over £5.5 million into the community through the delivery of new homes in Moreton-in-Marsh. This contribution will help fund a range of local priorities including NHS services, education, road safety improvements and biodiversity enhancements, and in addition, the scheme is expected to support over 775 jobs, providing a major boost to the local economy.
