First look at new homes for Crowle

Spitfire Homes has revealed the first images of an exciting new collection of homes in Crowle, Worcestershire, marking the next step in plans to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient homes in the village.

Spitfire is set to deliver 30 new homes at Blackthorn, the latest addition to its award-winning, exclusive Bespoke Collection. This new scheme will showcase a series of beautiful residences, ranging from two- to five-bedrooms, including 12 affordable homes, some of which form part of the Discount Market Value scheme.

Properties will showcase a variety of architectural styles inspired by the village setting, ranging from thatched roofs and traditional cottage designs to rendered finishes with detailed brickwork. Demonstrating Spitfire’s ongoing commitment to creating sustainable communities, all homes will come equipped with a range of future-proof features and technologies as standard, including solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, air source heat pumps, underfloor heating, and electric car charging points.

As part of the scheme, Spitfire will deliver over £450,000 in community contributions, benefiting local services such as education, transport and sports facilities. Accessible for both new residents and the wider public, more than half of the existing site will also be retained as public open space, providing a long-term amenity for the whole community.

Matt Vincent, Operation Director at Spitfire Homes, said:

“It is fantastic to be bringing another new collection of homes to Worcestershire, building on the success we have recently seen in Ombersley and Eckington. Our business continues to go from strength to strength across the Midlands and our reputation for quality, considered design and sustainable living continues to grow. Blackthorn is our latest example of what makes a Spitfire collection exceptional.

“Set in the heart of Crowle, Blackthorn will offer modern, thoughtfully designed homes that celebrate the village’s heritage and natural beauty. Our award-winning Bespoke Collection offers homeowners a choice of properties that bring together luxury brands, premium materials and quality finishes, all within desirable locations. With construction progressing well, we are excited to welcome our first residents in Spring 2026.”

Hayman Joyce Broadway, who recently worked with Spitfire on its Mirabelle collection in Eckington, has been instructed as the selling agent at Blackthorn. Associate Director Lucy Jordan added: “Building on our long-standing partnership with Spitfire Homes, we are proud to be supporting the launch of Blackthorn and look forward to introducing this premium collection to buyers wishing to make Crowle their new home.

“We have already seen strong interest which reflects the popularity of this Worcestershire village, attracting both downsizers seeking a peaceful countryside setting to first-time buyers keen to put down roots. We have had some fantastic early conversations with people looking to buy from an award-winning homebuilder so now is a great opportunity to get in touch and secure your ideal home.”
