Blackthorn Estate Office | Opening This Weekend

Spitfire will officially open the Estate Office at Blackthorn this weekend, its exclusive new collection of design-led properties in the Worcestershire village of Crowle, following the recent release of the first homes.

Blackthorn forms part of the coveted Spitfire Homes Bespoke Collection and will deliver a refined mix of just 30 two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom residences, shaped by thoughtful design that’s rooted in the local vernacular.

The opening of the Estate Office on Saturday 14th February and Sunday 15th February will offer prospective purchasers the first opportunity to discover the brand-new collection in person and learn more about the properties available using Spitfire’s industry-leading CGI technology.

The architecture at Blackthorn has been carefully designed to embody the character of the surrounding countryside, combining thatched roofs, multi-tonal brickwork, chalk-white render, hanging tiles and timber detailing to create a series of street scenes that feel naturally rooted in place.

These designs have been brought to life in a bespoke watercolour painting by local artist and Crowle resident John Horton, which is proudly displayed in the new Estate Office, allowing prospective homeowners to visualise the community’s look and feel.

Over 50% of the collection is dedicated to public open space, creating a balance between architecture and nature. With countryside views, local schools and village amenities, Blackthorn is designed to deliver quality and convenience for families, downsizers, commuters and more.

Operations Director, Matt Vincent, commented:

Blackthorn embodies our design-led ethos where every home combines style, sustainability and sense of place. The Estate Office opening offers prospective residents an exclusive first look at the community, whether they’re families seeking a welcoming village lifestyle or downsizers looking for a low-maintenance, premium home.

With the first properties ready to move into this summer, we encourage anybody interested to schedule a personalised appointment right away.”

As part of Spitfire’s focus on creating sustainable communities, all homes at Blackthorn are highly energy-efficient and include future-proofed technologies such as solar PV panels, air-source heat pumps, electric vehicle charging and underfloor heating as standard.

Lucy Jordan, Associate Director at Hayman Joyce Broadway, the collection’s official selling agent, added:

Blackthorn has experienced strong early interest thanks to its village location and the standout nature of the Spitfire product. The collection is limited to 30 homes in total, so represents a rare opportunity to secure a design-led home in a village with a strong sense of identity and community.

This weekend’s launch will allow prospective buyers to grasp that sense of quality, specification and place that defines the collection at Blackthorn, and we look forward to meeting prospective purchasers.”

The first properties at Blackthorn are now available, with two off-plan reservations already secured. Properties start from £575,000. For more information or to arrange a viewing at the Estate Office, please visit:
