Richard Miller
Land and Planning Director
Richard has nearly 30 years of experience in residential development and land acquisition across the Midlands. He has worked across both PLC and SME housebuilders, delivering projects ranging from bespoke residential schemes to strategic urban extensions of more than 1,000 homes. Since joining Spitfire Homes in 2021, Richard has helped shape the company’s continued growth and long-term development strategy.

Sophie Smith
Senior Land Manager
Sophie has over 12 years of experience in residential development and land acquisition across the West Midlands and South West. Since joining Spitfire Homes in 2019, she has played a key role in securing land for both of the company’s product ranges. Sophie has contributed to several of the company’s largest acquisitions, including major strategic and brownfield developments, helping to support Spitfire’s continued growth across the region.

Land Manager
Orla joined Spitfire Homes in 2025, bringing a strong foundation in residential development and land acquisition. Prior to joining the business, she spent five years at a leading PLC housebuilder, gaining experience in securing brownfield and greenfield opportunities, alongside working with Registered Providers, Private Rental Partners, Homes England and local authorities.
