COVID-19 Customer Information

What to expect when visiting our sales offices and show homes during COVID-19.

Throughout the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, Spitfire Homes continues to regularly monitor the situation and review business operations accordingly. The safety of our customers, staff and suppliers remains paramount and we will continue to follow the guidelines and advice of Government and the World Health Organisation.

Social distancing viewing process

Operating safely and responsibly throughout the Coronavirus pandemic is of the utmost importance for Spitfire Homes. Although our show homes and sales offices are open to the public, the following strict measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of our customers, employees, visitors to site and the general population. If the Coronavirus alert level is increased, and Government advice renders such viewings unsafe or impractical, we will contact you to cancel your appointment and offer an alternative – either a virtual viewing or postponement to a later date. Viewings are limited to a maximum of two customers per visit.

 

Scheduling a viewing

Until further notice, viewings will be conducted on an appointment-only basis. Spitfire Homes reserves the right to deny access to anyone who visits site without prior appointment. Viewings may be scheduled via one of our selling agents, or through Spitfire Homes directly, however they must be booked with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.

 

Prior to your appointment

You will be contacted to re-confirm your booking within 24-hours of your scheduled appointment time. At this stage, you will be asked to confirm that no members of your household are displaying symptoms of COVID-19. If anyone is displaying symptoms of Coronavirus, then your appointment will be cancelled and it is imperative that you follow Government guidelines regarding self-isolation. If the Sales Consultant conducting your viewing develops symptoms, we will of course contact you to inform you; if another member of the team is available, we will re-arrange your appointment with them, but if this is not possible then we will postpone your appointment until a suitable new date.

We have also reviewed our cleaning regime and handles and other surfaces will be sanitised between appointments to minimise the risk of contamination.

 

The appointment

Upon arrival for your appointment, please wait at the door of the sales office or show home, and do not enter until the Sales Consultant advises that it is safe to do so. You will be asked to wear a face covering, and our Sales Consultant will do the same. Throughout your appointment, it is important that social distancing is observed. You will immediately be asked to confirm that you are not showing symptoms of Coronavirus prior to entry, and will be asked to sign this document to confirm this – we advise that you bring your own pen for this, to limit any opportunity for contamination.

Upon entering the show home or sales office, it is intended that hand sanitiser will be supplied for your use and we will also supply you with disposable gloves and face coverings. However, please be aware that these measures are subject to availability and although we will endeavour to make them available for each viewing, this will ultimately be determined by supply, therefore we recommend bringing your own face covering and disposable gloves if possible. Additionally, we recommend that you wash your hands or use the sanitiser provided before and after removing any face covering or gloves, and ensure that these items are suitably disposed of after use.
