An update on our working practices during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Throughout the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, Spitfire Homes continues to regularly monitor the situation and review business operations accordingly. The safety of our customers, staff and suppliers remains paramount and we will continue to follow the guidelines and advice of Government, the World Health Organisation, Construction Leadership Council and the Home Builders Federation.

In line with current Covid restrictions, construction and moving home may continue. Therefore, Spitfire Homes’ sales offices and construction sites continue to operate in a safe and responsible manner.

If you wish to visit one of our sales offices or show homes, please contact the Sales Consultant or Estate Agent to arrange an appointment in advance. We have implemented a number of measures for the safety of both our customers and staff, and we request that these are observed at all times when visiting our sites.

Visiting sales offices & show homes

Our sales offices and show homes are available to view on an appointment-only basis.

This practice is designed to help manage the flow of visitors, ensuring that social distancing is possible and providing an opportunity for surfaces to be wiped down between appointments.

Please wear a face mask for the duration of your visit, and our Sales Consultant will also do the same.

Existing customers

For customers scheduled to complete on the purchase of a new home, you will be made aware of any delays which may impact your completion date as a result of COVID-19. If you have any further concerns, please contact us.

If you are currently within your 2-year Homeowner Warranty and have an issue with your home which requires our attention, we will attend to works in line with social distancing guidelines.

If you have a Customer Care appointment scheduled, but you are currently self-isolating then it is imperative that you inform us of this in advance so we can rearrange.


Office-based employees

Office-based staff have now returned to working from the office where possible. Although visitors to our offices are now allowed, this is on a limited basis and you will need permission prior to attending. If you have an in-person meeting scheduled, please contact the organiser to confirm that the appropriate safety measures are in place.

Site-based teams

On-site construction works continue, with staff and sub-contractors adhering to Construction Leadership Council (CLC) guidelines. Construction activity is being carefully managed in partnership with our supply chain to ensure that strict working practices are respected, for the safety of our employees, suppliers and the wider public.

Suppliers & Subcontractors

We will continue to work closely with suppliers and subcontractors during this difficult time.

We recognise that these are testing times for all businesses and on-site production is limited; we are in regular communication with our supply chain to manage the situation and ensure that Government guidelines around social distancing are observed.
